For that you would hope there is a DB backup that can be restored, as for enabling download - byplt would need to figure out the data being sent when you save a map, and then emulate it for all map ids

Yo, Arkshine as byplt mentioned, someone mass-edited the entire website maps to be system-only making them non-downloadable and replaced all author info

Hi. The author of all maps became "pHqghUme", Googling it makes it seem like it's some kind of a default name in databases. All this happened probably due to a database error. But still, allowing anyone to change the metadata of any map is a disaster waiting to happen.

Yes, I have an old SQL dump, I can restore author, category, etc of a large part of maps. But, yeah, it's old. Not sure how many news maps have been added since then. Better than nothing.
