Same for awp_map. Looks like a bunch of maps screenshots were uploaded in CS category. Not sure yet if there a simple way to regenerate all without breaking stuff.

You speak of originally but I have browsed through all Half-Life 1 maps per category multiple times for various reasons and I never came across clusters of maps being in the wrong category.
Especially not old maps & definitely not system maps ( like for example de_aztec ).
Must have to do with the attack on the site.

After the attack not only the author was changed to one single name, some maps were moved to a different category, and so including their attached mainscreen.
After applying byplt's backup, all the maps that were moved due to the attack were now back in their "original" category. But sadly not the mainscreens so it seems.

Ah, right. I did not think the resources would follow the new directory.
I restored directly the database.
I guess I should have made a script to use the function used to change a category. It's not too late though.

Do you still need a list of some sort?
Of course there will always be maps that didn't had a mainscreen before the attack but I'll try to exclude those as much as I can.

The mainscreens are not lost, thankjs.
They were moved to the wrong directory.
Right now, I've run some basic scripts to move any files if exists from 2 (CS maps) to their current category. This way, if there are files that exist, they will be moved.

I've run the script for the first 20K maps, not sure if we need to do that for all maps.

Did it for 100K maps. At the very least, the HL1 maps seems to be fixed.

Yes, edition is restricted to admin/modo/advanced user.
There is also DB backup every day.

It's a new rule ( from Arkshine ) that normal users can't edit map properties for safety reasons ( major attack on database a week ago ).
We can move trustworthy users to the advanced group ( they can use edit ) but this only solves the issue for those people, not everyone.

I'm not in charge but I still think a new upload template ( one where you can actually fill in author & country of set author ) is the better option, regardless of what group a user is in.
